IABVU - sylvanian families, please help

IABVU but DD (2) is completely attached to a piece of Sylvanian families and we’ve lost it... it’s gone forever.
It’s part of the SF bathroom set, a tiny bluey green dolphin which is supposed to be a bath toy for the sylvanian animals.
Does anyone have one they won’t miss that they could sell to me please? A new bathroom set is far too expensive to warrant it!

My DD loved trolls [remember them? in the 90s?] She had quite a collection and Sam was one of the founding members. Anyhoo, one day I found Sam, long after he had gone missing and been forgotten about and his hands had been chewed off, I assume by one of our dogs at the time, but hey, anyone could've chewed them off and I threw him away. Years later when [adult by now] DD and I are reminiscing, she mentions Sam's disappearance and I say "Oh well, actually, erm, I didn't think you'd notice as you had so many..." and tell her about Sam and his hands and the euthanising.
When I see trolls anywhere now I wonder if I should by DD a new Sam. I just realised this is completely unrelated to the OP's post other than my DD also had loads of Sylvanian Family stuff at my D M's [but liked Trolls better]

Have you looked on eBay? You could probably buy the set secondhand and resell it on ebay (described as with a missing dolphin) and I doubt you would lose much money at all.

Fwiw OP I don't think any lost toy request is unreasonable. There are so many kind MNetters on here who help out when they can, I always love those threads and the recipient pays it forward. Sorry I cannot help you on this occasion but hope you get to put in a economically viable bid in 48 hours!

Gosh we had a box full of Sylvanian Families for years but gave it away when we moved to current house a few years ago. A Windmill, a barge, a nursery all sorts and hours of play.

Phew, glad someone has one. I was feeling guilt to send you ours as didn't think my lg wouldn't particularly miss it but just went in to check we had it and found it all set up in the toy bath with soap and baby bear. I may not have been forgiven if I'd snuck it to you
