It's when a poster creates another account in a different name to agree with them about something - usually a controversial or inflammatory point.

It’s where a poster has more than one login (so say one on a laptop and one on their phone, with two different usernames) and so can have a conversation with themselves on a thread. It’s usually used by goady fuckers when they want it to appear as if someone is agreeing with their warped point of view.

For instance

iklboo: the moon is made of green cheese

Rest of MN: that's ridiculous

bikloo: no iklboo is right. You're all ridiculous. The moon is definitely made of green cheese.

I know the thread you are talking about I think and it was pretty obvious that it was happening so wasn't surprised to see if go.

You can usually spot them on threads like that.

Someone using two different usernames on the same thread.

Sometimes done to defend the indefensible, and sometimes I think to get a nasty swarm off their back while still explaining their point of view.
