I've never been a shrinking violet but lately i have been, as DP said, like a bad tempered rotweiller. Three times this week i have complained where before i would have let things go (got my money back though and sounded off re unreasonable behaviour. Even to the point of saying to the poor recipient of my wrath.........Am i being unreasonable to expect to......bla bla bla

Am more vociferous since becoming a mum.
Am more aware of issues about which to be vociferous since finding MN.

BUT

Am also (slightly paradoxically?) less judgemental of other mums...even if they are doing something "wrong".

Last week I used the famous "i'm not to blame for how you feel about..." with a friend. Really made me think if in fact i'd been really horrible to her, as that's how I usually read it on here, as an excuse for someone to be really mean. She hasn't written back since Thursday, so perhaps she took it the same way as I used to

I spent 20 minutes in a queue at Luton Airport defending the right of mums to bf their babies in public and not sit in a toilet to feed them or just feed them on ff as my dp suggested they should to spare men's blushes (there was a newish baby being fed via a bottle in the queue ahead of us which triggered this convo). Anyone who was behind me, I do apologise for my ranting on behaviour .

i have definately been known to breast feed defiantly!
