Just received the email about swimming lessons for next term and DS10 and DD7 have their classes AT THE SAME TIME! (In the same place, on the same day).

This is the extracurricular activities' holy grail, as far as I'm concerned.

Now, of course, my feeling of sheer ectasy is balanced with tortured imaginings of a last minute change.

Congratulations!Grin Wink

DS1 is due to move up shortly. I have to hope that I can get him in a certain slot that puts him directly next to DS2's current class and when DS2 moves up, they will be simulataneous.

It's amazing how much time is consumed by a 30 minute lesson!

I remember that feeling the first and only time I got dd1 and dd2 to have a nap at the same time. Grin

I salute you! I think I'm going to have to split my self in two just to manage the swimming and beavers /football each week for my two. I feel like crawling under a rock to avoid it.

You win parenting today LockedOut. That is the absolute holy grail! We achieved it fir about a term once. It was mstvflkiys. Then one child was promoted to hand an hour later, the other to hand an hour earlier, and it all went pear shaped. It is amazing how long 2x 30 min swimming lessons can take. Now DC1 has given up swimming lessons and does a completely different sport at a completely different place on Saturday mornings. If I take DC2 swimming though, at least she is now in the big pool and I can swim lengths whilst she’s in her lesson.

Thanks, everyone. I'm so, so happy; it's like winning the late afternoon lottery every Monday.

Here's hoping all of you have similar success when setting up activities for your DC next month!
