Anniversary present

What do you get your parents for an anniversary gift? Money would be no good to them, nor would vouchers for restaurants/ holidays. I'd like something priceless.

Anything unique present ideas for your loved elderly ones? They've been married fifty years so quite a big one

Experience rather than things..

Big family professional photo session
Event/Concert tickets
Overnight stay at posh hotel with afternooon tea etc

How about getting their wedding photos digitally enhanced? I scanned photos of the last 34 years into my pc and created a slideshow for my parents. They loved it

Golden wedding anniversary. Gold candlesticks? Something like a gold photo Frame with pictures of the family in? Would they like a party with all the family and friends funded by you (although they would be pretty expensive!)

My siblings and I did a party for my parents and invited everyone they were still in touch with ( and that was still alive!) from their wedding plus all their nearest and dearest and closest friends. We catered for it ourselves and it was a really nice friendly occasion. I researched the local hotels and B&Bs and added that information and maps into the invitations I designed. They loved it because it was so personal and we had gone to such a lot of effort to find their original wedding guests who were now spread all over the British Isles and indeed as far away as Australia (those ones didn't come! 😁)

I agree with family portrait or their wedding photo made clearer and framed.

Afternoon tea with the whole family would be nice.

Theatre tickets.

A family tree like this:

For my parents 50th anniversary, we booked four days away for the entire family (them, me and my siblings, partners and grandchildren). My parents loved it as we don't all get together very often.
