Court orders and passports

My ex hisband’s Solicitor hold passports for my two kids as per a court order due to my ex ordering the passports and me not having a solicitor. They have released them without letting me even know as they seen an email telling me he has complied with the court order by telling me dates, destination and contact number. The destination is the wording under dispute as he has just said an airport and country. Won’t give me me anymore details on purpose to give him control and me fear. Using it as abuse. He has given fights detsils but saying they are travelling saying in b n bs and his phone number. Surely the solicitor has acted incorrectly for one and to this is a dispute over the word destination in the order. What can I do. They fly Friday and I literally have no proper details. Is there anything I can do? We both have parental responsibility but I am the primary carer.

I don't do family law but I would have thought the ordinary interpretation of the word 'Destination' would mean he needs to let you know what country they are travelling to but does not need to supply a detailed itinerary so flight details should suffice. It doesn't sound to me like the solicitors have done anything wrong I'm afraid.

You know the country and you know the flight details, if he doesn’t have a fixed itinerary beyond that! than he can’t tell you. I’m not suggesting that he isn’t a knob but he has complied and his interpretation of destination is reasonable. What is your fear and how would having more information allay them?
