Anyone else seen this on Instagram today?

AIBU that the term makes me feel absolutely sick? Like, it's just kinda gross?

Who or what is an 'alpha mama' and does that make the rest of us bottom feeders who pay for our own clothes and holidays?!

I saw it on the account of a woman whose feed I really, really like - now I'm like alpha mama - okayyyyyyy.

I have no real idea what it means, but I initially read your title as “alpha mare treat” and thought it had something to do with horses .

I just looked up the hashtag thinking it was some warrior woman alpha man type fight to the death retreat.

I was a bit disappointed tbh - seems its a retreat named by an expensive clothing company which people who are attending are being asked to hashtag that. Meh.
