To not answer my phone to work outside working hours

So now I know she won’t allow we to use any days worked to plug the gaps in my childcare and wants me to just have my next working day off

To just not answer my phone my contracted hours are tues weds Thursday 8:30-3

You are not obliged to answer your phone to anyone in your own time. It is a pity she wants your flexibility without offering any. Though maybe your fixed hours we’re an accommodation to begin with and she would like something in return.
Like that is..... may not be in a position to demand.

Not demanding but will simply have to resign if the Christmas issue cannot be resolved

My husband is working so I cannot his work is the priority

Am I am trying to do this by working extra days now when she is really short
