To ask for pushchair help?

Been using our old Bugaboo up until now but it barely fits in my car with the pushchair attachment.

I'm looking for a pushchair and here's what would be my ideal one

  • sturdy (had a cheaper joie before and it was really wobbly)
  • folds up small
  • reclines so LO can nap in it when out and about
  • easy to manoeuvre and/or steer one handed as I have a toddler to keep up with as well
  • good sized basket underneath, preferably mesh

One that looks nice would also be a bonus. Budget is around £200.

I've heard good things about the Joie Litetrax but would be great to get more opinions and wondering if there's anything else out there or anything tried and tested by the wise mumsnetters?

Can anyone recommend anything?

Baby jogger city mini. We used ours from 6 months till age 5. Great pushchair.

We’ve just got a Cosatto Woosh and I absolutely love it. Around £170, folds up so easily and very small. Handles very well out and about too.

Definitely the baby jogger city mini - it's a fantastic buggy. Fully reclines, can push and fold one handed. Comfy for baby and lots of space in the basket. Feels sturdy too.

Baby jogger city mini or micro hands for . Folds up with one hand, looks nice, nice colours. Mine is on it's 3rd child and when I get it bf k from my mate I still exprect to get £30/£50 for it. They are amazing

Baby Jogger City Mini. Its brilliant. sturdy but folds up small. and really easy to push around. I've used it for both my kids
My youngest hardly uses the buggy any more but I keep on putting off selling it as it will really feel like the end of an era!

Thanks I'm having a look at the baby jogger ATM!

My dream one is the bugaboo bee but way out of our price range has anyone seen/had anything similar looking?

Would you consider a second hand Bugaboo Bee.
I have a Quinny Zapp Xtra plus. Fits the criteria you set although the basket underneath isn't huge.

Poodles1980 · 13/08/2018 18:29

I have a bee it’s the business. Get a second hand one. The babyzen yo yo is amazing but it would be hard to find a second hand one at that price.

NomsQualityStreets · 14/08/2018 09:42

Oh my I just googled the babyzen yoyo Shock it's beautiful!

I'm scouring shpock and gumtree but everything is far away... Sad

Ickle bubba aurora is a budget version of the yoyo x

Coffeeisnecessary · 14/08/2018 09:47

I second (third?) baby city jogger, they are amazing.

littledinaco · 14/08/2018 09:47

I’ve had a bugaboo bee, didn’t like it, got rid and got a baby jogger city mini (make sure you get the GT one though with the air tyres).

GreenMeerkat · 14/08/2018 09:49

I had all kinds of pushchairs including silver cross, McClaren, mamas and papas etc. Best one by far is the Chicco Echo IME.

NomsQualityStreets · 14/08/2018 12:33

Has anyone had the Graco evo or Evo XT?

I've noticed you can pick them up quite cheap.

Babyjogger - I had it when I had one in a pushchair and a toddler (I have an under 11 month age gap) and it was the best thing I found to push one handed (apart from a Nipper but they don't fold anywhere near as small).

I did make a little loop handle and put it on to the pushchair frame and teach the toddler to walk along holding that as well though which made life a bit easier too.

Grammarist · 14/08/2018 21:27

I've had a Bee. It was fab but the fold, to be honest, isn't easy one-handed and I found that it didn't cope well as the children got bigger.

I've now got a babyjogger city mini GT and it's absolutely fantastic. Folds easily with one hand and fits into our tiny car boot with the wheels off. It holds loads, has a great high weight limit and handles like a dream
