Why are some people so bloody annoying?

I’m trying not to be a grouch but argh!!

Why does the man opposite me think it’s ok to drum on his fucking desk all day?

And the man beside me take up half my desk with his laptop? He has a desktop but has decided he needs his own laptop too as he’s terribly important.

Seriously a little consideration for other people would be nice.

Don't you realise the more desktops and laptops a person has, the more important they are? Same applies to keys - more keys, more importance!

It's vital to important people that lesser mortals are aware of just how important they are.

Oh gosh I didn’t realise! He must be ever so important.

I always feign ignorance in instances like that and look around perplexed saying 'what on earth is that noise?'. Same as when someone hasn't turned the sound off on their mobile phone so when they are typing a text it beeps with every letter. Generally works.

I can't stand it when people talk to themselves in the office either - like reading an email out loud. I've been known to wheel over to the person's desk and ask how I can help! Can you tell I've worked with a lot of people without any self-awareness?!

Could be ADHD which makes people fidget.

I’m forever bouncing my leg, clicking a pen, squeezing something, stretching Blu Tack. I think I must be annoying.

Well it could be worse. You could be sitting opposite the colleague that waits till he has snot build up in his nose then aggressively wipes it with his forearm, Confused no idea why.

OR

the colleague that waits for saliva to pile up in one corner of his mouth, lets it dribble down onto clothes/desk Shock and does nothing about it whilst discussing project plans.

Urgh mcnutty you winEnvy (not envy).
