Impossible to tell from the actual bites. Further context? Have you been on holiday recently? Have pets?

Confusedbeetle · 12/08/2018 15:10

Can't see what part of your body that is but there are dozens of biting insects around. It really doesn't matter unless it turns out to be in your house like cat fleas in which case you need to get rid of them. All reactions just need treating the same to cool them down. There are some biting flies that will give you the same if you were out doors

Staying at a friends house, cats, dogs, etc

Depends when and where you got them. Evening + ankle = most likely mosquitoes
Daytime + outside = most likely horse flies
Someone's house + pets = fleas
Staying in a hotel = bedbugs
Cleaning out an old shed = spider bites

So much out there that can get you...

SendintheArdwolves · 12/08/2018 15:23

Cross Post - most likely fleas!

When I was a kid (before effective flea drops, jabs, etc) fleas were just a usual part of summer. When they got too bad we would flea spray the whole house then go out for the day.

Singlenotsingle · 12/08/2018 15:25

Fleas, spiders, ladybirds, mozzies, even ticks (nasty!)

TopShagger · 12/08/2018 15:28

Crocodile, definitely.

MereDintofPandiculation · 12/08/2018 15:30

Being close together suggests flea. They tend to have a good meal, then stagger a few cms and have another. Mozzies and horseflies tend to stay put, so you get one bite per insect.

If they're itchy, Afterbite (which seems to be pure ammonia) works instantly.

KimCheesePickle · 12/08/2018 15:36

Close together can also suggest bedbugs... the classic "breakfast, lunch and dinner" pattern of bites.

If they're mostly on your feet, ankles and lower legs, I'd say fleas. If they're on your torso, arms, jawline on the side of your body that lies against the sheets and is exposed from your nightclothes, bedbugs.

There's also harvest mites that are coming into season this time of year.

All lower leg so guessing (hoping) not bed bugs

Oh well home now, will dose up on anti histamines

Thanks
