More a WWYD. Would you pay £177 to upgrade to a better caravan in September or stick with the bog standard one. It's my 30th whilst away and it's just me and my 6 year old. Our 1st break in 2 years. current caravan has only heating in the lounge other will have it throughout. Cannot decide what to do.

£177 could be another break!

If the standard wasn’t terrible then I would stick with that.

Fullofthought · 10/08/2018 17:03

This one cost me less than 200 for the week. So your right :)

Maybe spend a tenner on a couple of hot water bottles, or a little more on a small fan heater, if you are worried about being cold in bedrooms, Op? Though it might be warm enough without.

i wouldnt that money will buy food and treats for the week, september isny always that cold, hot water bottles for the beds wont cost more than £20 and can be taken home and used again

Wait it out, sometimes they upgrade you on arrival for free

Lazypuppy · 10/08/2018 18:14

I'd upgrade.

We'd always done bog standard before. Last time upgraded to wider caravan, with the full size fridge freezer. It was a newer model so better sofas/furniture/tv etc. Was definitely worth it znd will aalways upgrade now.

Surely there is more than 2 ootions? Ciulx you maybe go one grade higher?

Rang up and been offered one for £48 that has heating in the bedrooms. Going for that one. The last agent gave details of the top on pushing their luck I think.

Oh that's good! There's normally a range, i never go top, just go middle somewhere gives a nice mix
