AIBU to want to be hot

Feeling like a massive heffalump. 7m postnatal, 2 more months before I go back to work.

Went shopping yesterday and picked up a couple things in sale to try on, got to changing rooms and saw rear reflection in mirror and thought what is the point! Left immediately on excuse of baby fussing...

Lots of weight to lose but have been in nursing/ maternity stuff for so long I don’t even know how to dress anymore!

Tips and hacks for turnaround to glam professional workbot in 2m please. Realise the weight loss will be ongoing as have 4-5 stone to lose. Sigh.

Wash your hair and put on make up? If you don’t like your body, like your face?

You can be hot if you want to be! Start today!

Watch portion size, it’s very easy to over eat on certain foods.

Always have veg (broccoli or carrots are good as low cal & filling) or salad with every dinner.

Porridge or eggs for breakfast

Drink more water as it can help you feel “full” start with a pint when you get up

If you have tea/coffee and have sugar? Start reducing that 1/2 a spoon a time

Not much alcohol, it’s just calories. Stick to a couple of glasses a week

Get out walking everyday you can pushing baby in the pram

What about a few wrap dresses? Generally I find them quite flattering

Bit of lipstick & mascara can really help on the glam front, and most can find a minute to apply it. That is the only make up I use as I don’t like a face full but lipstick gives me a boost especially if it’s red.

Buy yourself a good night moisturiser and a face scrub wash. That’s all I use.

What about a new hair style? Or a new colour? Just for a change

Remember you’ve carried a baby for 9 months, and given birth. Compared to that losing weight is a walk in the park

Louise Parker Method, buy her book, its healthy and really works, you could lose half that weight in 2 months if you really apply yourself to this......and withour significant exercise too.

Get a good haircut 2 weeks before going back to work, and subtle colour too if you can afford to. Learn to blowdry new style quickly and well.

Invest in a good lightweight foundation, spend your money there, get Loreal price mascaras, blusher and eyeliner......moisturise twice a day.

I suspect its the weight loss you really want to get a grip of...good luck
