To want a 20 minute bath?! (Light hearted)

Dh leaves for work at about 8:40

So I hopped in the bath at 8:12. Thought I’d lay here in the quiet with AIBU and have a read as from 8:40 it’s me and the kids until 5:30. We’ve got a lovely day planned.

It’s now 8:30. And have had children in here at least 8 times?! To look for spiders, to rinse their hands, to wash bubble solution from their eyes to tell me about bubbles.

Good lord. Gonna be a long day!

Why on earth didn't you lock the door? 20 minutes in the bath is like a spa weekend pre-kids

Haha I have the same from my eldest.. Always without fail. No matter what time of the day i bath. Comes into the bathroom for a poo.. Just before I get in the bath.

Last night he did the same again. Then I got in bath and then dp brought baby in to say hi to mumma!. She's been with mumma allll day. Lol
Then DS knocks again to ask what feuiyt we have.. Well son look in the fridge or fruit bowl. He then returns. Do we have any melon left.. Well son, if its not in fridge then no?
Tonight dp is working his 2nd job. DS has a sleepover...so will be sidetracked on x box. Once baby on bed.. Im having a big hot bubble bath.. With hopefully no disruption lol
