hi posting for traffic dont slaughter me its 4 in the sodding morning how do you attatch reins to the buggy?

I have mamas and papas luna buggy not full pram the buggy version. The straps on it are awful and I have lost one arm one Blush It was DS3s pram and now its time to dig out again and scrub the damn thing for DD1

So how the hell do you use the riens with it as a harness? obviously put riens on baby then the walking holdy bit do you thread them through the d rings so the walking bit tou hold is behind? i dont even know if it has d rings?

From what I remember, most reins come with 2 short straps as well as the long one, you attach the short straps through the D-rings, then clip the harness to them, keeping the long strap for when you want them for walking.

Like these: www.clippasafe.co.uk/shop/home-safety/harnesses-reins/easy-wash-harness-with-reins-anchor-straps

You put the reins on the child and take the long parent strap (the one you would hold if they were walking) off and in its place attach the reins to the "D" rings on the pram seat. Hope this makes sense!! Essentially you are replacing g the long strap with the pram

how would that work though the straps are along the chest and the strap in bit is in the seat?

Thats why they have the anchor straps, to make them fit. The old reins I had were small enough to thread through the d-rings, but the catches are a lot bigger now, don't think they would go through.

A bit of a longshot, and not sure it would work, but could you thread the walking strap through the slits at the back, where the original harness was, and attach the reins that way?

I still have the lap belt still on the pram that might be enough for her but might thread walking bit of the reins through the back of both d rings just in case.

On the upside I can get the zoflora out i love the stuff to clean the bloody thing....might hose it all down in the garden.

we tried it this morning the reins worked although i think the lap belt will be plenty.
