How many more do they get wrong

Just watching a show on bbc 2
And ss doing age assessment which in my view seems very subjective and pathetic really aged a girl at 17 years old it then is discovered the girl is in fact 27

Just wonder how many more “adults” ss miss age
On a regular basis it’s actually very shock how inaccurate the assessment is it’s simpky a list of questions
I myself look like I am 25 I am black and as many may know it’s often very difficult also for other races to age others

Why don't they look at official documents to find out someone's age?

Because often there are none! Illegal immigrants etc. If deemed a child they get looked after by local authority in s children's home of foster parents. If adults get treated very differently

How ridiculous. How do you expect SS to accurately 'age' someone? It's not like carbon dating.

I don’t think she really was 27 though, was she? She had no reason to lie and say she was 17 and actually it actually would have been easier for her if she was 27.
I thought they maybe put the 27 on the cake to imply she was older so they were not being prosecuted for child slavery. Or maybe there really were no number 1 candles in the shop. Either way I don’t think the program was really saying the girl was actually 27.
