I have had the coil for two years. My periods are anything between 21/25 day cycle. A couple of months ago sex became uncomfortable, only in some positions, but not painful, like something was in the way. Twice i have bled afterwards, once a little like the very start of a period. The second time seemed to coincide with a period, albeit long and irregular timing. I made an appt with gp but had to wait 4wks for the doctor who deals with coils. For the past 3wks ive been fine, no issues. Is there any point in going seen as it all seems to of cleared up? Could it just of been an infection? Up to date with smears, done last year. Don't want to waste time. Thanks in advance.
