Isn't it endearing how they get attached to one programme

Time to Go Out And Do Something Less Boring Instead methinks. DD has other ideas. It is a beautiful day and she wants to watch telly. Time for forcible repatriation to the garden

DS is saying 'I don't want to play in the garden - I just want to watch CBeebies'. But I'm not giving in yet.

TigerFeetFormerlyCheesyFeet · 02/06/2007 10:52

I told her she couldn't watch telly any more so she has now gone upstairs to sulk

She is only 2.11 far too early to be a telly addict surely?

(btw I'm not here, sat inside mning, I am actually out in the garden doing something constructive)

Oh yes, me too, obviously. DS is now flicking through Good Food magazines. He and DD have been in the garden for almost an hour, and they've made 'perfume'.

or bloody barbie in the nutcracker??

JackieNo · 02/06/2007 10:57

Oh god no. I can block out CBeebies quite easily now.

TigerFeetFormerlyCheesyFeet · 02/06/2007 10:57

Oh I used to do that

put daisies in jar, add water, leave in back of wardrobe for three weeks...

I much prefer Charlie and Lola

Mmm - fragrant.

JackieNo · 02/06/2007 10:58

(not Charlie and Lola that are fragrant - your daisies)

TigerFeetFormerlyCheesyFeet · 02/06/2007 11:05

Perhaps I could tempt dd outside with "shall I show you how to make smelly water and hide it for weeks?"

She might go for that

Bet she would - call it 'perfume' or 'a potion' (the other favourite in this house) and you're onto a winner.
