Doctor wants to see me.

Had a phone call yesterday from the doctor's surgery, the doc wants to see me tomorrow. I last went a month ago, he said I had an hernia and would send me for a scan (still waiting for the scan appointment)

Normally you can't get an appointment and here I am being offered one!

Has anyone ever been called to see their doctor for anything other than test results?

Aibu to be worried?

No, I haven't. But I am going back tomorrow about test results - doc has asked to see me urgently. I am bricking it frankly!

Good luck - hope both things just turn out to be, oh I don't know, doctor being unable to keep away from our unbearable charm, or wanting to know where we bought our shoes. Yes that's almost certainly it.

Flowers to you Marymarg.

Maybe in order to have a scan they need to check something else first. Some hospital departments make you jump through hoops before they will see you.

Eg I went to see go who said I had something and as I had had for for so long the only way it would be treated is through a steroid injection. BUT the hospital wouldn't entertain me until I had been to see a different department to try insoles and exercises first. So 3 months wait to see this department then 3 months of trying their exercises before the gp could write to the hospital and say I had tried it all and nothing worked so I needed the injection he knew I needed during the first appointment. Took another 3 months for the injection and that was only because they had a cancellation!!!

Or maybe they want to check the hernia isn't worse?

Good luck to both of you, there might be something unclear, hope the next scans go better.
