Stain pain

Not an AIBU but needed an answer semi-soon

I've just made myself a lovely dinner and poured a huge very reasonably sized gin and tonic. The minute I sat down I threw the gin everywhere including all over some light coloured upholstery (and in my dinner). I've halfheartedly dabbed with a wet sponge while deciding that I don't deserve to pour myself a new one. I hadn't even had a sip.

My question is: will it stain or can I just leave it to dry and eat my g&t pasta?

Would really appreciate some advice from a real adult. Or some sympathy.

should be fine if you dabbed with a clean damp cloth and dried with a clean tea towel or something. if it shows a watermark then you may have to revisit with a cleaner but just be pleased it was not a glass of red wine :)

If it were me I'd pour myself another, eat my gin pasta, and leave the spill to dry.

I had a dream last night that I destroyed this exact piece of furniture, so maybe I'm a little too paranoid.

I'm going to pour myself another gin and research a way to put my newly discovered psychic abilities to good use
