Really struggling with FiL, had in laws staying for 2 weeks and MiL is absolutely lovely but I need help with FiL!
I really am trying to be the bigger person and he's obviously my husbands father and I'm trying not to lose my temper but at the end of my tether.
He's a chauvinistic misogynist and so rude. Will watch me empty the dishwasher then just dump his dishes on the side. Will offer husband a drink and ignore me. When we visited them earlier this year I took them to a lovely expensive restaurant to say thank you for having us for a couple of days, he thanked DH and didn't say a word to me.
I snapped last night when out for dinner, bill had just been paid but I still had my drink. He got up to leave and I said can I please finish my drink? A couple of minutes later he says to MiL, why are we still here? At which point I snapped that I'd actually like to finish my drink. Probably doesn't sound like a big deal but I'm at the end of my tether.
Help!
