Anyone heard about this poss. bomb threat at the airport? Family were due to board a few minutes ago, suddenly alarms shouting etc. Hundreds of people being moved away from departures. Phone went dead then so don't know anymore - no news coming up, flights still apparently on time...no idea whether to leave and pick them up in two hours as planned?

No, I suggest you call the airline, who will know if the flight is on schedule or not.

Nothing on Twitter or anything OP so hopefully just a false alarm that blew over very quickly. Fingers crossed.

There was similar when we were there a couple of months back - it turned out to be an abandoned suitcase. Here's hoping.

Hopefully a false alarm op. Flowers

We had the exact same thing happen a year or two ago. Absolutely nothing found and everyone back to normal within about 45 minutes, it's a regular occurrence with unaccompanied bags. Hopefully it's the same for your family.

Hopefully their phones are on flight mode. You can track the planes, let me look for you be right back.

Put Charles de Gaulle and the destination or the flight number in

It happened to us in Manchester a few years ago, apparently a toilet bin was on fire and set the alarms off.

This happened to me last summer at CDG. It was some unidentifed luggage. They were holding people back before they could pass through passport control. Took about an hour
