To give child to father

I can't take the abuse anymore. Months of legal fights, abuse still continuing. I can't do this anymore. Police aren't doing anything
Should I give him the child I can't make it stop

i dont know what the answer is, but if you give him the child isnt there a risk that he will abuse s/he as well?

take some time, some deep breaths, look around you for support friends family, official channels, (social workers etc?)

you can do this, you WILL get past this, just dont give up you are worth so much more

also - try posting with some more detail in the legal section - theres a lot of knowledgeable mumsnetters who can help with some practical advice

Are you getting any support from Women's Aid, or a solicitor? If you are being abused you are entitled to legal aid
