Smear question

NoGoodDeed · 01/08/2018 08:57

I posted this in women's health but got no responses and it's something I really want advice on.

Is it possible to get a cervical smear at age 24 if you have lichen sclerosus? Given the increased chance of various cancers?

I'm genuinely not sure if cervical cancer is even related to lichen sclerosus, or if I'm just worrying about nothing. I've googled a few things but I would really like real-life experiences.

Probably best to speak to your GP or practise nurse as they will have up to date information and access to your medical history.

Thanks for the reply. I agree, I'm just struggling to juggle life/work with actually getting to the doctors when they're open! I live rurally.

See if your GP will do a phone consultation.
