AIBU to start thinking about presents?

I know it’s months away but I’m already panicking about my budget and what to get every one. I was thinking about doing hampers for my parents and their partners, filled with homemade goodies, bottle of wine (or two), framed picture of the grandkids and maybe something else but I’m not sure what 😫

If I start saving now I could probably spend £50 on each one.

I've already got all my daughter's presents

She's young enough that she will play with anything so I just grab things when on offer

If you're panicking about budget can you not just spend less? Do you have any siblings? If so do a joint hamper so you both fill it so it costs less?

My mum has already started her shopping. I’ll need to start soon as DC1 is due on December 17th 😂 might be a bit busy this year!

Best thing we ever ever did was email all our relatives and say no more gifts this year. Cards only. All responded enthusiastically so we just buy for immediate family members under 16 and that’s it. There’s 2! Happy days
