To ask for your group 2/3 car seat recommendations?

My son is not quite 15 kg yet but am looking for recommendations on group 2/3 car seats. Not too worried about weight as it will stay in my car and would probably like isofix. A headrest which I can tilt would also be a bonus as DS drops off in the car!

Is it safe for a child to be in a group 1 car seat after they are 15kg if the still look as though they fit?

Group 1 normally does up to 18kg. There is an overlap as group 2/3 are from 15kg but you are best to wait until the weight limit on the group 1 seat so they don't move until 18kg

I've just checked and our car seats are up to 18kg. I feel he's safer with a 3 point harness so unless he gets really too big for it I will keep him in that until 18kg.
