To feel cold

It's 14 degrees. I actually feel cold outside now.

Bloody heatwave.

Nope, it's cold. Will please all those that were whining about the heat though I suppose...

I've got a hot water bottle on my feet. It's all relative. A few months ago I would have thought this was warm!

I've been in London for the week. Sweltering in 34 degrees, walking out of an air conditioned space was like walking out into a warm bath.

I'm back home, and it was a delight to sit in the summer house, listening to the rain hammering on the roof and the wind picking up, with a blanket over my feet to stay warm.

Normally I hate being cold.

Hot water bottle here too, my feet are cold.

Where do you all live?! In Yorks & can't quite work out if our house is just full of residual heat or if we still have it fairly balmy given these comments..?

It's chilly tonight and I'm happy to have the duvet back on as I like the weight of it in bed.
It's nice to have a break from the heat and get things done. It's coming back though.

Isn't it such a welcome relief? I'm thrilled. It's long sleeve, trousers, and cuddles weather. My skin is able to breathe, not covered in sun cream and sweat. I will sleep beneath a light sheet tonight, rather than toss and turn, sweltering, too uncomfortable to sleep naked, feeling anxious that I'll be burgled and caught naked by said robber , but not anxious enough to put anything unnecessary upon my already boiling body

My nakedness is my secret weapon, should we ever get burgled. I practice running down the stairs like a mad banshee screaming AAAAAAAAAAAAATrRrRrrRRrRrrRr GgGgHhHhHhHhHhHhh, waving my arms around and gnashing my teeth. Surely anyone would run away from that.

I can't believe anyone has slept with clothes in this heat

Loving the wind and rain after the relentless heat and humidity

Snuggling under the diver and not having the fan running constantly. Lovely.

I'm glad it's cold.
