In pets at home you can get human grade meat 🥩

And he’s actually suggesting we buy some because it’s cheap Confused🤮

He’s really researching this no bloody way and I now don’t trust him to do a food shop lest we be feed dog food at a low low price

Wtaf? I mean, my dog is raw fed, sourced from an abattoir, but no way would I eat it! Just stop buying meat, your food bill will be a lot cheaper!

gamerchick · 28/07/2018 19:59

I read somewhere that bog standard dog food is nutritionally complete for humans once.

Might come in handy for the apocalypse Grin

Stocking up on Pal now ahead of Brexit

Metoodear · 28/07/2018 20:03

I didn’t even know you could get fecking dog mince

OP posts:
longwayoff · 28/07/2018 20:04

Ah well at least hes got a sense of humour. And you'll never trust him to cook again.

DoYouLikeHueyLewisandTheNews · 28/07/2018 20:05

I feed my dog raw. We often joke he eats better than we do with his game and venison. Perhaps your DH is on to something!

Seniorschoolmum · 28/07/2018 20:09

He’a Barking mad Smile. Dog mince is not guaranteed fit for human consumption and can carry nasty bacteria that dogs can cope with but we can’t.
Tell him he can eat it if he wants but I wouldn’t have it on my fridge.

I think that would definitely count as unreasonable behaviour - you could be rid of him within 3 months.

Ethylred · 28/07/2018 22:57

Ethylred and DH thank the OP for her kind invitation to dinner but regret that they are unable to accept it because they're scared.
