My husband falls asleep on the sofa every night and snores really loudly with his head lolling around. It's so unrelaxing and annoying as so many times we start watching things he wants to watch and then he falls asleep, snoring, and I end up watching it on my own - and even worse with the sound being drowned out by his snoring.

When the in-laws come to stay they do it to! So we will sit down to watch a movie with both of my PILs and my DH falling asleep and all snoring. I find it so uncomfortable and awkward. And like a scene from The Royle Family!

AIBU that he should just go to bed if he's that knackered?!

Chuck a blanket on him and take a glass o wine to bed and watch the tele there.

Same when the in laws come round.

I'm with Singlebutmarried take a glass of wine upstairs and snuggle in bed with your laptop.

My husband and his family are exactly the same (without the snoring). I don't mind I just put something on I like since I'm the only one watching it. If snoring was drowning it out I would definitely go upstairs and leave them to it!

My dh used to do this. It drove me nuts. Especially the snoring. And it would make the children jump Angry

We now after a million arguments have a polite agreement that the bedroom is for sleeping. The lounge is not.

If tiredness hits - go to bed!
