To be hoping for thunder and rain..

Because I'm fed up of having to hear various neighbours parties/loud music in their gardens.

Yes I am probably being a killjoy here but I'm just so sick to death of it and at weekends i want to get some sleep and not have to listen to people's noisy parties into the night!

Last weekend my next door neighbours started singing loudly with music and a party all evening until they delightfully sprawled out onto the street at midnight (20 or 30 of them, yes really!) to scream, shout, fight until the police turned up. Them being noisy isn't a one off either.

Last night we went camping so all feel tired this evening. Thought a nice night in front the tv would be lovely until the sound of thumping base started to beat. I'm at the back of my house and can hear it coming from my neighbours over the road! I went to the front door and it sounds like a party in full swing going on.

What is the matter with people? We live in close proximity on a semi rural estate where the gardens are very close. The houses aren't that soundproof (I can hear the neighbours cough etc) yet people are living as though they live in a detached house far away from any neighbours.

I can't even turn the tv up because I can hear the noise over it.

Yes people have the right for fun and parties but is it really considerate to have music THAT loud that your neighbours have to endure your party too?

I am also praying for rain, but for my garden which is very dry. Each to their own though, yanbu.

Had a massive thunderstorm down the east coast a couple of hours ago so you might get your wish.
