Not sure where to post. Anybody have an accurate idea of current salaries in Europe please? Google searches bring up huge variety of scales etc. Trying to work out what maintenance should be. He has 10yrs plus experience, annual salary rather than day rater. Thanks

What's ROV PT?

ShumpaLumpa · 27/07/2018 12:47

How long's a piece of string? Confused

What does he do
What country is he in

Do you mean average salary?

CambridgeAnaglypta · 27/07/2018 12:55

If you want an answer try posting what you mean. What's ROV PT?

ShumpaLumpa · 27/07/2018 13:05

Do you mean he is an ROV technician? Google says:

A remotely operated vehicle, or ROV, is a small submersible craft which performs various underwater tasks in support of a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, scientific exploration, search and salvage, inspection of underwater equipment such as pipelines, surveying and dam inspections.

In the UK child maintenance is a percentage of his income so it's hard to know if you are being unreasonable without knowing the numbers involved.

Is he the type of ex who would be more amenable to paying for a specific extra say ordering school shoes online (you send the link), paying for an extra curricular to the service provider etc?

Longleaves · 27/07/2018 13:30

Sorry! ROV is remotely operated vehicle pilot. Works on oil rigs and ships. UK and Norway based.

He isn’t open to discussion. Just wanted a better idea of his wage before going down the REMO route which means magistrate court order than is enforceable internationally (or something along the lines of that!). He has paid same for last ten years which he thinks he deserves a medal for. Might be a fair payment, but just feel probably dhould be more. Thanks

Anyone with a partner in this job? Maintenance should be 12% of gross salary according to CSM but no idea what his gross could be! Google varies wildly!
