Had the house tidied and dinner made by 7:00 this morning. All windows and doors were wedged open to get the cool breeze through the place, mopped floors drying nicely and then the washing machine finished it's cycle and I needed to hang out the laundry. As I hadn't got round to wearing anything and my dressing gown was in the wash it meant climbing the stairs yet again to get dressed and frankly I am trying to expend as little energy as possible in preparation for today's heat. Put on my wet silky dressing gown (yes I'm lazy) and ventured into the garden to hang out the laundry. It was blissful, the breeze turned the dressing gown into an air conditioned coat and I am now sitting having breakfast with it on, slowly drying by using up my body heat.
Need to get ready for work soon so my question to you is.....am I being unreasonable to be thinking of hopping back into the shower after I'm dressed to start my work day in damp glorious coolness?
