DC at scans?

I have an appointment tomorrow for a scan and injection in my foot. It was a last minute cancellation so no time to find anyone to watch my DC but been waiting over a year for various appointments to sort plantar fascitis and as I work in a school I may not get another appointment during a holiday.

DH is at work and can only try and get his work done as quick as possible and "try" and get there in time. He finishes at 1 pm and is a hour away from hospital in average traffic. Appointment is at 2pm.

He should be there in time but if he isn't wibu to take DC with me and either into room with me or leave in the waiting area? They are 10 and 6 and sensible. Would the hospital be totally against this?

Ds has been to lots of appointments with me, and particularly enjoyed watching the joint injections

I think it depends on the policy of the trust. With the hospital I have been at they refuse to scan you if you are leaving children unattended in the waiting area and they only let one extra person in the room with tou. Might be worth giving a ring before you go to find out.
