I posted an add for a gardener on a facebook page yesterday. A man messaged me asking me to send him pictures for a quote. I did this and he asked me what exactly needs doing as I have some very nice features in my garden apparently, I thought that was a little odd as I dont, its all just a massive overgrown mess. I said it all needs getting rid of and asked for a quote, He then responded with "You must have loads of people messaging you" again odd imo, He then asked if I had an amount in mind that I wanted to pay which I didnt really get as like I said just looking for quotes, anyway he then friends requested me. I decided to just ignore him after that as I thought he probably isnt an actual gardener. Well basically he has been messaging me loads since! Even commented on my post twice more. Aibu to think this is weird behaviour?

Check your privacy settings he may be looking at your page and liking what he sees. Friends only and hide you friends list too. The world is full of nutters

So he's seen your profile pic and fancies you. Block and avoid. He's probably not even a gardener!

If his name is Cliff run like the wind. I hired a gardener once and he turned into a creepy stalker and I ended up getting the police involved.

And why place an add for a gardener? Just google your local companies and make appointments for them to come and give you a proper quote.

I would suggest posting on your ad after his comments "Just to let everyone know, Pervy McFuckface above has been sending me inappropriate messages off the back of this ad, I'd suggest you avoid as clearly very unprofessional to say the least."
