To get a TENS machine

I've been suffering god awful period cramps after getting the coil put in a few months ago and a friend forwarded me an artical about device that's been made thats ment to help with them. However in the comments a lot of people were calling it a glorified tens machine, which I've never heard of until now.

Has anyone had any experience using one of these for period cramps and is it any good?

Not used for period pain, but used in early labour (which felt pretty similar) & it did help. I never found anything that worked for my horrific period pain, so good luck! (You can hire them for labour - maybe could hire one and see if it works first?)

You can buy a decent tens machine from Lloyds chemist for less than £20 (they do a 2 pad or 4 pad version). I use it for muscle spasms around my SI joint and my daughter uses it for pain associated with hypermobility syndrome. I would say it's the best £20 I've spent for a long time
