To be concerned about 3 periods in 3 years

Have PCOS, mid 20s yet GP says having only 3 periods in 3 years is just irregular periods and a normal symptom of PCOS.

GP also not concerned about fertility as people with PCOS have babies all the time.

Surely this can't be right?

I have PCOS and have found gps aren't helpful and lack a lot of knowledge regarding PCOS.

Are you on any contraception? I used to have very irregularly periods, having none for 6 months and then bleeding for several. Since getting a copper coil I have regular monthly periods that last 4/5days. Something to consider
