My dad was a bit “Victorian” and deaf - we weren’t really allowed to watch a lot of Telly as kids and if he watched it with us he insisted on silence.
Fast forward to me. My DS GF lives with us and she is really really lovely.
Sometimes she watches TV with me in the evenings and talks and chats all through it and it does my head in - I pause it and have the convo then play but tonight it’s Long Lost Family ffs - talking over it is bloody sacrilege!!
I am an evil MIL and I am going to hell - but seriously Long Lost Family?!
