Clexane injections - talk some sense into me

I’m on these due to previous losses and thrombopholia, and am now 15 weeks with twins. However today, after doing my injection, there was a tiny amount left in the tube.

I’ll be emailing my doctor about this but I’m panicking now. Logically I’m sure this is fine, but can anyone confirm this? Anyone done this before?

Who gave you the clexane? Was there a reason why you didn't say "it hadn't all gone in" at the time?

ARumDo · 24/07/2018 17:09

pm'ed you.

SuperSange · 24/07/2018 17:09

I had that sometimes, I used to inject for the same reason. It's fine.

MrSpock · 24/07/2018 17:16

I inject myself, so I only noticed once I’d pulled it out.

Ah ok. For a quicker response I would ring the gp rather than email or you could always ring 111 just for advice

I'm on it daily, and this is not something that would worry me. As long as you take it regularly it should be fine. I panicked when I missed one taking my child to hospital and ended up staying overnight. They said it was fine. It only works for 12 hours a day anyway.
