A call on my mobile phone. Mast owned by EE went down last Thursday lunch.am with Virgin ( they 'piggyback' onto EE). Drove 3 miles away till connected to another mast to be able to ring Virgin. Was informed nothing they can do until EE fix the mast and am entitled to cancel contract or they will calculate compensation. It's now nearly Tuesday night and still not able to make or receive calls. Luckily OH knows a workaround to make calls but there's a trade off........v v slow internet. Rang OFCOM this morning who raised a complaint and advised me to make a complaint with Virgin as have had no updates ( nothing at all actually not even an email to say mast not working). Apparently this is breach of contract and I can leave. The woman at Virgin cs said there is no date on the 'ticket' to say when EE will fix the mast, informed me compensation will be calculated and raised my complaint. Soooo frustrated. Btw. Have a landline but never use it and have to pay for calls 11p pm. That's not the point I have applied for jobs and just put my mobile on ( sorry for the rant - hope this makes sense ). Opinions please
