No. I am really emotional that my little boy turns 1 in September, not helped that my DD starts school. 😭😭😭😭

I'm glad it's normal!
Very overwhelming, it's almost like I never thought we'd make it to 1 year 🙈

Wait until they turn 6 and insist on calling you mum, not mummy Sad

gossipgirl202 · 23/07/2018 22:45

Indeed it does. DS1 is 6 and suddenly such a BOY. So grown up. But I also have DS2, who is 1 too so I’m going though it all again. Much more emotional about it all this time as I know I won’t be doing it again. Get upset at every milestone. When he grows out of a size of clothes and I pack them off to the charity shop! Sob.

Glad it's not just me being crazy. I sort of just never saw DS being past that baby stage, and now I have a toddler it seems crazy! Feel very overwhelmed and lucky ❤️

Enjoy every minute. Each stage is amazing in it’s own way and you feel so proud with each one. I remember crying my eyes out when we changed the cot bed into a toddler bed. But also being so happy he slept in his new big boy bed so well

Woman up! I have never understood why some mothers cry at children experiencing new things, they have to grow up sometime.
