All my windows open & not a breath of air passing through.. Bedroom still at 30' degrees.

Only the thought of spiders & slugs puts me off. I've no tent or camping eqpt.

I'm on my sun lounger at the moment and it's so tempting to stay here, if it wasn't for the sun having bought out all the to screech around the village

I've done this - it's wonderful. So much more comfortable. Usually sleep on the DC's trampoline if I'm sure it's not going to rain.

I just said this. I have come back inside. And it is so hot. May sleep in the conservatory with the doors open.

Too many midges in our garden. And it gets light so damn early, which keeps me awake as much as the heat does.

My mother used to do this when she was growing up. It was common in her country to have a wooden platform in your garden (ideally over a stream) and war all your meals tgere/sleep there in the summer. We had one in our garden when u was a child but too many mosquitoes to be outside in the evening.
