Who has had nightmare 3/4 year olds who behave terribly, don’t listen, don’t sleep, hit and pinch but have gone on to be normal well rounded and well behaved teenagers or adults?

Is there hope?

YY me. They used to fight a fair bit when they were little and were very tiring, being obstinate and contrary.

I now have a 16 year old and a 19 year old who are perfectly reasonable humans 99% of the time.

Yes. My son was the bane of teachers and classmates alike from age 4 to 10. He is now 14 and quite lovely.
