AIBU to LTB over his socks?

He insists on leaving his socks on the kitchen/living room/stairs floor - even if he is stood next to the washing basket! Should I LTB or just burn the offending footwear?

Are you having an affair with my husband? Hmm

Outbackshack · 22/07/2018 18:00

And mine??? My work friends enjoyed the daily updates on thr saga of the sock on the banister at the top of the stairs. 7 days it waited there needing washing before I gave in. Every day it taunted me as i walked past.

@Outbackshack I had a similar scenario. I even asked him to vacuum in the hope that that might get it resolved. Nope. He hoovered around it.

Around it.

Around a fucking sock.

Hoppybunny · 22/07/2018 18:09

Would it be acceptable to superglue them to his feet?

Stuff them inside his pillowcase. A gently stinky reminder of his shame.

Bambamber · 22/07/2018 18:12

My husband used to do this. Then I got a puppy and he started running out of socks without holes in. They now go straight in the wash basket. I'm obviously not advising to get a puppy just to get him to put his socks away, but if there's suitable consequences he may start being tidier Grin

spiderplantsalad · 22/07/2018 18:36

Both. Burn the socks while dumping him, just to underline your point. It's the only reasonable course of action.

TheProvincialLady · 22/07/2018 18:41

The OP could just bite holes in them herself, Bambamber?

c3pu · 22/07/2018 18:41

Put them in the bin

mimibunz · 22/07/2018 18:43

LTB, Twice!

Lilacwine1 · 22/07/2018 18:49

Bin the socks! Burn the socks! Run the bastard things over! Just make sure he's wearing them at the time.
