Posting here for traffic! I can't seem to work out where the insert is that you remove when baby is 3 months. My son is looking really squashed and is drenched in sweat when i take him out of the car. He cried for 30 mins nonstop yesterday when i was stuck on the m25 and i can't take that again. Can anybody please help?

From what I can remember you can unfold the bit they sit on, so it makes a bit more space

and take out a piece of foam

I found that even doing that my lo was still squashed, it's a very narrow car seat and he always looked squashed.

I was very glad when we could change it!

Does this help?

Pull the headrest up to adjust then unfold the bit they sit on...tbh it doesn’t make much difference, it’s a tiny car seat

Here’s the manual. It shows exactly where the insert is on page 30, if you’re having trouble finding it, with an English explanation on page 31. Good luck!

I did read the manual but i can't workout what the insert is!

We had a mare finding out how to do this for our twins! Basically, if you lift up the middle section of the cover (it just lifts up like a flap) there are a couple of inserts, one is like memory foam and one is polystyrene type material. We actually found it created quite a bit more room and the babies seemed to be more comfortable.
I'm not explaining it very well but I've found this photo (attached hopefully) which shows which bit to lift. Once you lift this you can easily work out which bits can be removed.
