anyone else had one of those household enquiry forms through there door this week from council /household response I thought I only did one /was added to the register a few months ago ? why am I getting this again !!

brizzle I only was added to the register in March or later of this year . unless I'm going batty why do I need to do this again 😬.

Do you mean the council form concerning who lives in the household for the electoral register? We had one this week. I guess they are sent yearly to ensure the register is up to date. I live in Scotland.

OP it's almost certainly cheaper to send one to every house than check who has only recently joined, especially as they don't know if you have a child who is going to be 18 during the coming year.

I think that they churn them out at the same point annually, which means that if you are fairly new to the register you will find yourself doing it again within a year. Just ring up or do it online.
