Oops sorry thought you were asking for our opinion of best song ever. Will listen to Weird Al,

AckleAckencacker · 21/07/2018 00:39

I love riders on the storm. It's a weird description but I think it's beautiful, if you know what I mean.

Also hotel California by eagles. Might as well make it a proper music thread.

Peace like a River by Paul Simon. Just lovely.

ISayOopsUpsideYourHead · 21/07/2018 00:43

I love Riders on the Storm.

This is new but fantastic best song I've heard in a while.

All time favourite is

And 'A day in the life' by the Beatles

SoapOnARoap · 21/07/2018 01:42

Depends on where I am & what I’m doing I think.

Riders On The Storm is one of the best Doors songs, I agree but, how can I compare that to being in the zone at 3am in Amnesia & the DJ drops say Voodoo Ray by A Guy Called Gerald?

MissionItsPossible · 21/07/2018 06:23

Secretly by Skunk Anansie and it’s a great video too.

ashgrove1 · 21/07/2018 06:27

Don Mclean American Pie.

MissionItsPossible · 21/07/2018 06:33

@ashgrove1

Thank you. You’ve just reminded me of long car trips with my dad when I was four or five. American Pie on one side of the tape cassette and Vincent on the other. Repeated over and over again Smile If it was playing, I reckon I could still recite all of the lyrics.

ashgrove1 · 21/07/2018 06:37

I was so angry when Madonna butchered it with her cover Angry

FeistyOldBat · 21/07/2018 06:39

Human Touch by Bruce Springsteen.

flaggerblasted · 21/07/2018 06:50

Very difficult to pick just one! On the list are (but I need more time to think!):

Echo beach by Martha and the Muffins
Life on Mars David Bowie
Have A cigar Pink Floyd
Original version of Eloise by Barry Ryan

I'm a melody rather than lyrics girl!

Ilovecamping · 21/07/2018 06:51

There's the original by Million Dead and then his acoustic version.

Ronnyhotdog · 21/07/2018 08:08

Last Goodbye - Jeff Buckley, although give me 10 mins and it’ll change.

Northernclementine1 · 21/07/2018 08:15
