My DS wears these and he’s 20. Gma commented that they’re old mens shoes and very feminine !

They’re a tad rah but he lives in Hampstead although I like them.

The colour is a bit feminine and would look wrong in a forty sonething but in twenty year old that are perfect.

NotUmbongoUnchained · 20/07/2018 21:05

They’re awful Grin
I would divorce my husband if he came home in those.

TimesNewRoman · 20/07/2018 21:05

Did he have the yacht tied up outside Wink

TheClitterati · 20/07/2018 21:12

I work with a very stylish chap (who has a very successful side business eBay men's fashion shop) and he would absolutely wear those.

speakout · 20/07/2018 21:13

They do have a certain comedy appeal.

They don't look rah- they look like rough lager drinkers shoes who enjoy a punch up after hours.

Monday55 · 20/07/2018 21:16

I love boat shoes but my OH doesn't. I have a few lady pairs of my own.

CityFarmer · 20/07/2018 21:18

Theyre lovely!

MissusGeneHunt · 20/07/2018 21:19

Where I come from, loads of people wear them, all ages, any sex, but it's quite boaty here. I quite like them!!

mayandjuniper · 20/07/2018 21:26

I like them! I'm in my (late) twenties and would be chuffed if my DH would even consider them instead of trainers or flip flops for every bloody ocassion.

NonaGrey · 20/07/2018 21:29

My FIL has always worn them. I’ve never liked them.

DH even owned a pair in his youth but has now seen the light.

CheeseGirl4 · 20/07/2018 21:31

Oh. I think I'm too far from any sort of boatyard for these; I really, really dislike them. It doesn't matter a jot though, there is no fashion on Earth that everyone agrees on.

MeanTangerine · 20/07/2018 21:32

I love boat shoes. I live in a fishing village though.

fantasmasgoria1 · 20/07/2018 21:41

Yuk! I can’t stand to see blokes in these shoes and no socks!

violeticecream · 20/07/2018 21:46

Sorry but these make me cringe. When I was younger we would always laugh about men that wore this type of shoe.

I guess it depends on style preference!

donquixotedelamancha · 20/07/2018 21:51

The colour is a bit feminine

1955 called. They'd like their social attitude back please.

TheMonkeyMummy · 20/07/2018 22:00

I love these

Takfujimoto · 20/07/2018 22:08

Those would look great with a bow tie, I like them 🤷‍♀️

stopgap · 20/07/2018 22:10

Standard summer prep wear for all ages where I live (Connecticut).

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 20/07/2018 22:11

I don’t like them, but I think I’m too old (late 30s) to like what 20 year olds like.

thirtysquirty · 20/07/2018 22:13

Mixed opinions! As always, I do think they fit certain area/scene/situ.

He was saying that in Santorini all men wore similarGrin

I have a 19 year old DS and it's a no from him. He thinks his Grandad may like them though.

I don't like them much.

downinthedumppppppsssss · 20/07/2018 22:20

Horrid !

Beba11 · 20/07/2018 22:23

It really depends on his style. Only a very stylish and fashionable looking man can get away with these otherwise they should keep away

jazzyfizzles · 20/07/2018 22:55

I love them!

OraangeSoda · 20/07/2018 22:57

They’re awful!
