Went to go and see a wedding reception venue at a hotel. The day before she (the sales lady) sent me a quote based on 50 people (the minimum required) and everything included. It said the bride and groom would be able to stay in a room after the wedding for the night.
But when I went to see her, she asked me again how many guests, I said it would only be 50. She then asked me how many guests would be staying in the hotel, I said I couldn't say at this point. She then said "you would be able to receive a 10% discount on a room." I said I thought the room was included (as per the quote), and she said "Oh we've recently changed it." In a day? The website and brochure still says it's included
AIBU to think if you say something's included in a quote, you honour it? Especially if it was only the day before! This has made me put a big X next to this venue.
