I'm not overweight probably a size 10 - 12 but I don't do any excessive and I'm worried my current way of eating will make me gain weight in the long run. I think the only reason I haven't yet is because I've been EBF for the last few months, bit less so now since LO is being weaned.

I'm constantly wanting to snack it's impulsive not out of hunger. The other day I was warming up my dinner in the microwave and raided the cupboard and ate a chocolate bar in the middle of waiting for it.
I just had a bowl of rice, chicken and spinach and even though I'm full I keep wanting to go in the cupboard for some snacks or freezer for ice cream. I feel like a kid Blush

I feel like I can't help myself but surely there must be something I can do to stop myself constantly snacking and eating stuff?

I was like this too just after weaning my two. I found it tapers off after a while. Especially when they are mobile and you just don't have time!

Keep plenty of nice fruit in the fridge. Every time you have the compulsion to eat, eat a piece of fruit. It helps break the dependency on junk and limits the caloric damage of compulsive eating, which is a long slog to recover from.

I hope you're right @Maccapacca88

@Blueplasticwig unfortunately I don't eat fruit - I haven't since I was about 3 or 4 something about someone force feeding me and I gag if I eat it. I know awkward and stupid
