People who think you run off the same time/clock as them

What is it with people who text or message and expects your phone to be stabled into your hand and a reply a.s.a.p. Right now, right this minute.

Yesterday evening After work I read not only one, not two but three messages on messenger from some local lad that I don't really know. We went to primary school together and he's a bit simple truth me told. He keeps adding me in Facebook and then deleting me and adding me. Needless to say, his recent round of messages and new friend request went ignored.

My sister was horrific for this kind of texting stuff too. Years ago, I remember being in work and my phone was on silent in my jacket pocket and hanging up. I missed a text from her earlier in the day and went I finished work, I had a lot of abusive messages from her because I didn't respond. I tried explaining when I got home that I was working and my phone was on silent. She didn't want to know and she didn't talk to me for about 8/9 months after that.

She's now estranged from the family, for different reasons and won't leave us alone in peace and sends horrific, abusive messages to all of us. Followed by other messages on the lines of - 'whats wrong with you, rely'. As if I or others would respond to abusive messages but notice how she thinks people should serve her with replies, NOW.

Yanbu...it drives me insane.

I get abuse from people on WhatsApp because I look at messages, they see I’ve looked at them and then get pissed off because I don’t respond.

Only yesterday on here, a user was calling out someone for not answering their question. I pointed out they asked the question ten minutes ago and not everyone refreshes MN every second for updates and they went into a strop lol.

I'd block both of them from being able to contact me, they both sound like dickheads.

Mission it's possible,

It takes makes less than a minute to read a text. It takes more time to construct a message and its not always possible to reply back straight away and then many times life can get in the way, big time.

The first lad I wrote about, there's no badness in him. He lacks a lot of sense and he is simple. There's definitely something wrong with him. I will be ignoring his recent round of messages even though they are polite. Just, not going there.

My sister is blocked but it doesn't stop her from creating fake accounts and also contacting other people I know, and other nut job activities.
